Over the course of 2020-21 schools had 3 periods of remote learning due to the COVID19 pandemic.  This effected the provision of school counselling services.

Click here for further information for parents and carers about the closure of schools and other educational settings following the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

As a school counsellor I usually work with children offering therapeutic support from a dedicated therapy room on site.  Whilst I am unable to continue this support in a school setting I am pleased to be able to offer this now on-line.

For any parent considering this service please read this document that sets out how this service works.  I also encourage you to read the story below with your son/daughter to support their understanding of this new way of working whilst checking in with their feelings around this change.

This change in routine will have an impact on you and your family so I encourage you to set out a schedule to assist with healthy boundaries and structure.  Click here for ideas to help you attend to your wellbeing during this period of social isolation/distancing.
